I work with women navigating weight management, GLP-1 medications, perimenopause, and menopause, or often all at once. Sessions are structured but conversational. We look closely at patterns, physiology, and the decisions that shape long-term outcomes. The work is collaborative, direct, and responsive to your life as it unfolds.

Clarity builds. Decisions shift.
Change lasts.

Clarity With Confidence

For women ready for a more thoughtful, realistic approach to food and weight. I work one-on-one with a small number of clients.
The work is specific, strategic, and shaped around how they live.

Foundation Plan

Structured, focused work designed to establish clarity and direction.
We take a comprehensive look at your health, identify priorities, and begin building practical strategies that fit your life.

This phase creates momentum, sharpens decision-making, and establishes a clear path for what comes next.

GLP-1 Support Plan

Focused nutrition guidance for those preparing to start or currently using GLP-1 medications.
This work extends beyond weight loss to protect lean muscle, maintain nutritional adequacy, and support responsible, long-term outcomes in coordination with your prescribing provider.

We address appetite shifts, protein needs, dose changes, and evolving requirements with structured oversight and clinical precision.

Anchor Plan

Ongoing, focused sessions to support consistent progress over time.
We deepen skills, refine your approach as life changes, and reinforce the decisions that keep progress steady over time.

This remains collaborative and responsive, supporting consistency without pressure or rigid plans.

Food, Habits, and How It Fits

Food is rarely just about food. I think about how it fits into a full life. My background is clinical, and my approach is practical.
This is where I write about food and how it actually works, from habits to recipes and the decisions that shape it day to day.

I’m Lauren Cohen, a registered dietitian with over two decades of experience helping women rethink their relationship with food.

I focus on what truly drives change—patterns, behaviors, and the decisions that shape daily life. Not trends. Not rigid rules.

Specializing in women through midlife, I support clients as shifts in body, metabolism, and priorities call for a more refined approach. Many of the women I work with also incorporate medical and functional strategies into their care, and I support them as these decisions intersect with their overall health. Weight is part of the conversation, but never the whole story.

My perspective is shaped by both extensive clinical experience and what I see my clients navigate every day. Sustainable health should never compete with your routine. It integrates seamlessly, with intention.

Food, With Perspective

Information isn’t the problem. Most women have heard it all before.

The challenge is making it work in real life.

This is where I think through food, midlife, home, and the habits that shape how we live.
Practical ideas. Clear perspective. Made for ordinary days.
