Sticky Sweet Chili Sauce
This sticky sauce from The Kosher Queen combines sweet chili sauce and honey into a quick glaze that’s especially good brushed over crispy schnitzel. I keep extra in the fridge to spoon over salmon, toss with roasted cauliflower, or drizzle over a chicken-and-rice bowl. It’s also an easy dipping sauce for steamed dumplings or grilled shrimp.
Ingredients
Instructions

- Bring to a gentle bubble and cook for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from the heat and let cool for a few minutes.
- Brush over hot schnitzel just before serving, or serve on the side to keep the coating crisp.
Notes
Favorite Brand:
My favorite sweet chili sauce is 365 by Whole Foods Market. For a lower-sugar option, try G Hughes Sugar Free Sweet Chili Sauce. The honey will still contribute sugar.
Meal Prep:
Double the sauce, reserve half for dipping, and store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
